  • Energised from morning tea, we’ll continue your diagnostic self-assessment.

  • Break for lunch (supplied), connect with your fellow founders and network with our team of mentors.

  • Break for lunch (supplied), connect with your fellow founders and network with our team.

  • Let’s see what you’ve got! Deliver your 3-minute pitch in front of our panel, each followed by 3 minutes of Q&A, for the chance to be invited to our Commercial Readiness Program.

  • We discuss what happens next and wrap up an action-packed Bootcamp!

  • We all grab a drink at Valley Hops Brewing and debrief post-pitches with your fellow founders.

Pitching

You will be asked to pitch throughout the two days. Firstly, you will provide a rapid-fire 90 second pitch to kick off Day One so we can get to know who’s in the room very briefly. There will be no slides, and we suggest for only one person to pitch.

Your main pitch will occur after lunch on Day Two. It comprises a 3 minute pitch to our selection panel, followed by a limited number of questions and answers.

The panel has been appointed to select 10 companies to progress through to Stage Two. They will be seeking insights that demonstrate your innovation, strength to progress, and to secure industry engagement. This is not an investment pitch, but should be part sales and part demonstration of your industry engagement.

If you opt to use a deck, you must submit the file to us in advance as we will be using one central device to control all presentations, you cannot use your own device.

Submission via this Dropbox link by COB Friday 7 July.

Slides must be in Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx or .ppt), Google Slides or PDF format. Custom fonts need to be uploaded alongside presentation deck. Embedded videos are supported if in .mp4 and embedded in the presentation. Please upload video file itself if uncertain.

What to bring

  • 90 second pitch, verbal only (no slides)

  • 3 minute pitch, with slides

  • Laptop / tablet (to complete the diagnostic and/or other work)

  • Heaps of energy!

Photography, Videography, Media

Please note we will have a photographer in attendance over the course of Bootcamp. During the mentor blaze on Day One, we will capture a headshot (with your product!), team shots and general action photos. Additionally, we will have a videographer in attendance the afternoon of day one to capture a vox-pop (60 second pitch). Additionally, we will be capturing audio snippets via a podcast recording.

These photos will be used for promotional purposes by Beyond Cups and our program partners.

Lastly, there may be media present throughout Bootcamp.

Please flag with our team if you have any issues, questions or concerns.

We look forward to meeting you at Stage One Bootcamp!
